Diabetic nephropathy

Diabetic nephropathy is a kidney disease that results from the serious complications of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and is one of the main cause of kidney failure. Almost one-third diabetic patients develop diabetic nephropathy. The best way to prevent is by maintaining healthy lifestyle and managing high blood pressure and diabetes.

-You will need to have once a year urine checked in the lab for the kidney problems there are promising new treatments with SGLT-2 inhibitors and need to be considered if you have kidney problems related to diabetes.
