Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA/DXA), also known as Bone densitometry uses very small amount of ionizing radiation to generate images of the inside of the body in order to measure the bone loss. It is quick and simple method to diagnose osteoporosis and is non-invasive.
