Cushing’s Syndrome
When your body produces hormone cortisol in excess, it leads to the occurrence of Cushing Syndrome. It may also be a result of taking oral corticosteroid medication. It can result in high blood pressure, loss of bone, and sometimes, type II diabetes. It can cause a fatty hump between the shoulders, pink or purple stretch marks on the skin, and a rounded face.
